Important additional information and Terms & Conditions for your booking.

You must not accept any booking unless you understand and agree with the following terms and conditions. Your ticket/ service will only be issued once you have acknowledged and agreed to this terms and conditions:-

Important Note:-

• Your final payment is due today before 4pm & tickets are not confirmed until we receive full payment. if you are not paying on the due date, fare is subject to change until ticket is issued. when you make a final payment, taxes are applied as per that day.
• Please verify that the names on the itinerary are as per the name details in your passport. check all spelling of the names as per passport.
• Please verify the itinerary before you make final payment, any errors will be the travellers liability after the final payment has been made. any form of payment to us means you agree to our terms & conditions.
• Your booking number is your reference number when making bank transfers.
• Please note these tickets are non- refundable.
• Please check with appropriate embassy in regards to visa requirements, transit visa and stopover points. it is your responsibility that you have valid passport and visa. Airlines do not provide any accommodation during the transit.
• If you are travelling with combination fares of two or more airlines, our travel agency is not responsible for any flight delays. please also check the weight allowance with your travel consultant.
• Travel insurance is strongly recommended to avoid any unforeseen event while travelling.
• Please check with your travel consultant and get an insurance cover.

Travel documents include (without limitation) airline tickets, hotel vouchers, tour vouchers or any other document (whether in electronic form or otherwise) used to confirm an arrangement with a service provider. Travel documents are subject to certain conditions and/or restrictions including (without limitation) being nonrefundable, non-date- changeable and subject to cancellation and/or amendment fees. all travel documents are non-transferable. All airline tickets are issued in the name of the passport/photo identity holder, some carriers will deny carriage if the name varies and the booking may be cancelled. any errors in names on your documentation will be your responsibility if not advised at the time of booking. it is your responsibility to collect all travel documents from us prior to trave

1) Passports and visas:

A valid passport is required to travel internationally. it is your responsibility to ensure that you have valid passports, visas and re-entry permits which meet the requirements of immigration and other services and other government authorities. any fines, penalties payments or expenditure incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be your sole responsibility. All travelers must have a valid passport for international travel and many countries require at least 6 months validity from the date of entry. For further information regarding visa please contact the appropriate consulate/embassy.

2) Credit card transactions:

Everest travel ltd. Auckland will accept certain credit cards and will review the list of accepted credit cards from time to time. a surcharge may apply for credit card transactions when paid by a card visa or MasterCard or AMEX. Before we proceed to issue your airline ticket or process any travel booking on your behalf, various checks are taking place to validate the integrity of credit card information. In certain circumstances the credit card holder will be required to submit verification documentation to substantiate identity. In circumstances where we cannot contact the card holder and the ticket issuance period lapses thereby making the booking invalid, we will have no choice but to cancel the booked arrangements. Under these circumstances we accept no responsibility for any re-booking costs. Notwithstanding any verification that we do to verify the card holder’s identity, Everest travel ltd. Auckland reserves the right to refuse payments via credit card if, at its sole discretion, it deems the risk to be too high. You will be given other payment options for purchasing your travel in the event that payment to Everest travel ltd. Auckland.

3) Cancellation, Amendments and Refunds:

Booking cancellations will incur charges. these charges can be up to 100% of the cost of booking, regardless of whether travel has commenced. Please read the terms & conditions carefully including fare rules to check whether the fare is refundable, as not all fares can be refunded. Fees will apply to all refundable tickets. Our service request fee is $195 per ticket plus any airline cancellation fees. This will vary depending on the airfare you have booked. for some fares no refund is available, so check your specific fare rules carefully.

Refunds take approximately 10 weeks to 14 weeks or more to process. where we incur any liability for a cancellation fee for any booking, which you cancel, you agree to indemnify us for the amount of that fee or charge. Cancellation or refund will only be processed if you have sent the request in writing. Infant tickets are always non-refundable. Refunds will only be paid to you once we have received the funds back from the supplier(s). Generally flight tickets cannot be refunded if they are partially used. This is beyond the control of Everest travel ltd. Auckland. If the reason for your cancellation is covered under the terms of your travel insurance policy, you may be able to reclaim your cancellation charges through your insurer.

Where changes to your travel arrangements are permitted and possible by the supplier, Everest travel ltd. Auckland will charge you a standard service fee of NZD195 Per ticket per change in addition to all charges applied by the supplier. By confirming the booking, you are accepting the specific ticket conditions relating to your chosen fare. changes are subject to availability and are subject to the validity of your ticket – for details check the ticket conditions in the fare selected. not all fares allow changes, so please check your fare conditions carefully. Changes outside the validity of your ticket, for example, to a higher season, a different airline, operator or ticketed route, where these are possible, will result in additional charges on top of standard service fees. Flights must be taken in the sequence they appear on your ticket or electronic ticket confirmation. If you plan not to take a flight as booked, please contact the airline as far in advance as possible to discuss your options. if you do not check in on time for a confirmed reservation, the airline may register you as a ‘no-show’, which could result in extra charges and/or your whole flight itinerary being cancelled and/or render your ticket void. Where we incur any liability for a charge or re-issue for any booking, you agree to indemnify us for the amount of that fee or charge. Changes & reissue will only be processed if you have sent the request in writing.

4) Reconfirmations:
We recommend that you confirm your flight with the local airline office or our office at least 72 hours prior to departure as some airlines do change their flight schedule. failure to reconfirm may result in the cancellation of some reservations and Everest travel ltd. Auckland is not liable for any taxes: certain taxes are mandatory in various countries. There may also be an additional local tax charged at some airports. All taxes are subject to change without notice.

5) Special requirements:

Please advise your travel consultant of any special requirements you may have, i.e. special meals, medical requirements and so on. these requirements will be requested to the service providers or airlines by us, but there is no guarantee that the service providers or airlines will confirm those requests. we are not liable for any requests made to us and not fulfilled by service providers or airlines.

6) Frequent flyers:

Please advise you travel consultant your frequent flyer details. Your consultant will pass these details on the relevant supplier but cannot guarantee that the supplier will credit points for your booking. If you are a member of an airline frequent flyer programmed, please retain your boarding passes and copies of tickets for point verification against your statement. Without these you may be unable to claim points.

7) Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is strongly recommended by the department of foreign affairs and trade for all oversees travel. The premium is calculated on the number of days you will be away, however it is important that the policy be taken out when the booking is made, to cover any cancellation penalties that may apply from that time. Financial product advice in travel insurance document is prepared without taking into account your objectives, financial situation or needs. because of that you should consider the appropriateness of it having regard to your objectives, financial situation or needs. You should obtain a product disclosure statement relating to the product and consider the statements before considering whether to acquire the product has been made to Everest travel ltd. Auckland by credit card, you agree that you will not seek to charge back your payment health, vaccinations and travel advice. To visit most popular destinations no vaccinations are required. however, for some unique, tropical, or adventure destinations there may be the need for vaccinations. it is your responsibility to ensure that you are aware of any health requirements for your travel destinations and to ensure that you carry all necessary vaccination documentation. for travel advice, please contact the department of foreign affairs and trade or visit their website at www.avsec.govt.nz

8) Agency:
Everest travel ltd. Auckland acts as a travel agency only. We sell various travel related products on behalf of multiple transport, accommodation and other wholesale service providers. Everest travel ltd. Auckland obligation is to make travel bookings on behalf of you and to arrange relevant travel products between you and travel service providers. we have no responsibility for these services nor do we make or give any warranty or representation regarding their standard. All bookings are made subject to the terms and conditions and limitation of liability imposed by these service providers. Your legal recourse is against the specific provider not Everest travel ltd , Auckland. if for any reason, any travel service provider is unable to provide the services for which you have contracted your remedy lies against the provider not Everest travel ltd. Auckland.

9) Liability:
We do not accept any liability of whatever nature, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, for the acts, omissions or default, whether negligent or otherwise, of third party providers over whom we have no direct control. Under circumstances where liability cannot be excluded, such liability is limited to the value of the purchased travel arrangements. We do not accept any liability in contract, tort or otherwise for any injury, damage, loss(including consequential loss), delay, additional expense or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by force majeure or any other event which is beyond our control which is not preventable by reasonable diligence on our part. force majeure: changes beyond our control
Compensation will not apply if a significant change is made for reasons beyond our control. these include: war, threat of war, riots, epidemics, health risks, civil disturbances, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural and nuclear disasters, fire, changes due to rescheduling or cancellation of flights by an airline or alteration of the airline or aircraft type, closed or congested airports or ports, hurricanes and other actual or potential severe weather conditions, act of government or public authorities or other circumstances amounting to force majeure and/or acts of god. Everest travel ltd. Auckland cannot accept liability or responsibility for any airline or supplier bankruptcy or insolvency and the failure to provide any services which may follow.

10) Conditions of contract and other important notices

Carriage and other services provided by the carrier are subject to conditions of carriage, which are hereby incorporated by reference. These conditions may be obtained from the issuing carrier. The itinerary/receipt constitutes the ‘passenger ticket’ for the purposes of article 3 of the Warsaw convention, except where the carrier delivers to the passenger another document complying with the requirements of article 3. if the passenger’s journey involves an ultimate destination or stop in a country other than the country of departure the Warsaw convention may be applicable and the convention governs and in most cases limits the liability of carriers for death or personal injury and in respect of loss of or damage to baggage. see also notices headed advice to international passengers on limitation of liability’ and ‘notice of baggage liability limitations’.

11) REFUSAL OF SERVICE

Everest Travel reserves the right to refuse service to travellers at their sole discretion and including without limitation if the traveller:

· Lacks proper documentation for the country of destination;

· Is under the influence of alcohol, drugs or narcotics; and/or

· Manifests disruptive and/or unruly behaviour.

Everest Travel assumes no liability for the acts of the service provider in refusing service.

12) Flight notes

At check-in, please show a picture identification and the document you gave for reference at reservation time.
Not all seat and meal options are offered on all flights.
Specific rules and restrictions may apply to this fare.
Taxes are included except where local airport taxes are collected at check-in time.

13) Consultant Remarks

Everest Travel ltd. Auckland is a travel agent and in that capacity we offer for sale to you various products and services on behalf of our principals being airlines, other transport operators, hotels and other accommodation providers, tour operators and all other travel service suppliers. Everest Travel ltd. Auckland undertakes to perform these services with reasonable care and skill but we cannot and do not guarantee the performance of the functions offered by the principals and we will not be liable in the event that you suffer loss, injury or disappointment by reason of any acts or failings of any principal. In any such case your remedy will lie against the principal. Principals may from time to time increase the prices of the services Everest travel ltd. Auckland has confirmed. in the event of price increases, lets will ensure that it provides notice and arranges for the collection of any increases. In accepting this booking confirmation, the customer accepts Everest travel ltd.’s fees and terms and conditions.”

You must arrive at the airport and check in at least 180 minutes prior to your flight’s scheduled departure time. arrival after this time may cause you to miss your flight and forfeit the fare paid. all travellers must have a valid passport for all international travel. many countries require passports to be valid for 6 months beyond your stay. visa, transit visa and entry permit are required for many countries. if you are not ‘NZ or au passport holder, you must have a re-entry permit to re-enter ‘NZ. passports, visas and re- entry permits are the responsibility and cost of the traveller. for help enquiries, call your traveller’s medical/vaccination center or see your doctor. we recommend that you check travel advisory information for your destinations. we strongly recommend to book your travel insurance with your flights.

14) Declaration

If Everest Travel takes any action to enforce the Terms and Conditions, it will be entitled to recover from you, and you agree to pay, all legal fees and expenses and any cost of litigation, in addition to any other relief, at law or in equity, to which such parties may be entitled.
